Driving services

1. Lowdham Volunteers may be able to offer driving services in emergency situations such as to deliver prescriptions, collect essentials.
2. All driving must be co-ordinated through the Driving Co-ordinator (Conchita Daley 07816228232)
3. The service is provided on an at-cost basis of 45p/mile plus any direct expenses (eg parking).
4. Monies are paid direct to the driver.
5. The 45p/mile is the HMRC rate for mileage and is used by many local volunteer groups and covers wear/tear on the car as well as fuel. There is no tax due on the driver.
