31 January 2024 – Via finished a whole week of ‘sucking’ drains in Lowdham. Thank you Matt. This has cleared the leaves from the top of and inside the ‘pots’ you can see when looking down the drain. we still need some of the connecting pipes ‘gulleys’ cleared (sometime called jetting). There are only two machines in the whole of the County that can do this so we’ll have to wait a little longer for those (we have asked!). Google Lens! A great way to find replacement items online! Google Lens enables you to take a picture of something you’ve lost in the flood and it not only identifies it, but then looks up where you can get a replacement (e.g. on Amazon), and the prices for comparison. This is a great way to identify exactly what you’ve lost get a replacement value and have an audit trail to give to the insurer.
